This apartment has just been restored and newly furnished, in a quiet area of Dorsoduro, in between the Zattere walk and The Guggenheim Foundation. The location is perfect for excellent restaurants, hostarias, museums and cafè for tasty ice-creams. The San Vio & Salute area has been traditionally the ideal “Passeggiata” (the walk) of the Venetians that with the first sun of early Spring and up to the last sun of Fall, come to Zattere to walk from San Basilio to Salute and have an ice cream or a drink sitting on the cafè watching the people passing by. Pizzerias and traditional trattorias are very good and there are several in the area within max 10 minutes’ walk. The Guggenheim is not the only Museum in the area, in fact there is the famous Renzo Piano project of a “moving Museum” for the artworks of Emilio Vedova in the same place where he had the studio up to the lte ‘80’s, The Magazzini del Sale in Salute-Zattere area. There is the even more famous Accademia di Belle Arti at about 300 meters from the apartment and crossing the Accademia Bridge, there are all the Santo Stefano and San Marco Museums.
The apartment has 2 double bedrooms and a studio where there is a large and comfortable double sofa-bed. There are 2 full bathrooms with cabin shower. A very large and bright living and dining area face the Rio Terà of San Vio and a terrace that goes around all the living area helps to continue the living and dining area outside the building.
What really impress is the silence, the green gardens on the north side of the apartment while the large street in front give the apartment the space to be very bright despite being just on the first floor (one floor above the ground). Definitively strategic position but completely out of the crowd.
